Max Whitehead is one of New Zealand’s leading Employment Relations practitioners and has more than 25 years experience in the field of Labour relations..
Max is often is requested to give his views in the media. Max has occupied leading roles with the Ports of Auckland, Auckland Council, Auckand DHB Feltex and Auckland District Health Board as well as advocating for hundreds of employers during his 11 years at the Employers and Manufacturers Association (EMA).
In the 1980’s Max was held a Union leadership role during a dispute in Australia with Shell Oil.
Max is the Managing Director of the Whitehead Group. Over the last 9 years he has personally advocated for over 2500 personal grievances cases and work place disputes.
Max also is the Chief Operating Officer of the Small Business Voice Inc
Due to his extensive knowledge of the complexities of employment law in relation to both employers and employees his services are in high demand.
